After Hurricane Harvey I applied for a grant through Youth Service America (YSA) to host an event called Brooke's Book Bash to help children who lost their books during the hurricane. I received the grant and I am excited to host it on Sunday, January 7, 2018. It will be an event with many fun book-related activities. It will be fun and educational. At the end each kid attending will get to choose a few books to keep from the selection of books that I collected.
